Will Smith Pays Tribute To ‘Fresh Prince’ Co-Star James Avery

will smith has finally broken silence on the death of James Avery. Sure… he might still be in shock but few hours ago, Smith made statements on facebook and he was also quick to shear a picture of the crew of “Fresh Prince” in memorial of the last time they all met.

 

As you know, James Avery is Uncle Phil in “Fresh Prince”. Will wrote –“Some of my greatest lesson in Acting, Living and been a respectable human being came from Avery. Every young man needs and Uncle Phil. Rest in peace”. He concluded.

James LaRue Avery was an American actor, best known for his portrayal of the patriarch and attorney (later judge) Philip Banks, Will Smith’s character’s uncle, in the TV sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He also provided the voice of Shredder in the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles television series, as well as War Machine in the animated series Iron Man and Junkyard Dog in Hulk Hogan’s Rock ‘n’ Wrestling.
 

 Avery died December 31 after suffering from complications from an open heart surgery. Plans of his burial have not be let out yet by the family and kindly stick here, we will update you as it goes. He was 68.
