Iyanya Confessed! It Requires A Lot Of Money To Remain In Stardom

Staying as a success comes with a price and everyone should know that. And to be honest, been there for quite some artistes takes a lot from them to get it right. …risk. And to some entertainer’s, money and fame comes with time. For an artiste and his or her music to remain trendy, it is expensive. Iyanya is one act that believe in that school of though.


The singer has confess that music is expensive and to remain in stardom, it requires a lot of money. While some singers find it hard to put back into music once they hit stardom with their debut album, some who saw the need to put back so much the second time battle with sophomore jinx…. Second album success. That is sad. Iyanya has broken the jinx and he says “Music is very expensive.

Most of them make money  but your next money is not guaranteed because there are lots of artistes. If you say you wouldn’t do show A, they can take artiste B for that show. It doesn’t mean that because you have a hit song, you would be performing at all shows. It doesn’t work like that. So, some of these guys, it’s hard for them. It’s hard for them to follow up. Follow up is the hardest thing to do”. He disclosed in a recent interview.

And for real, music has been expensive for Iyanya. From club singing to the Project Fame stage to stardom, the road has been threatening. And now that he has some acts under him, the road to building a lasting music empire will be tougher for him and his acts. Iyanya’s last artiste on his Mad Men Music Record Label is Tekno. Let’s hope he remains relevant for more years.
