The Manchester United striker sustained a gash to
his head in training and his Scottish boss has ruled out any
involvement in the Three Lions' upcoming World Cup qualifiers
Manchester United manager David Moyes says striker Wayne Rooney has "no chance" of playing for England in Friday's World Cup qualifier against Moldova after suffering a cut head in training.Goal reported on Saturday that the 27-year-old had left the club's Carrington training base with a bandaged head and was a doubt for United's trip to face Liverpool at Anfield.

However, Rooney will miss the champions' clash with Liverpool with the head injury sustained in training, and is highly unlikely to play any part in England's upcoming matches against Moldova and Ukraine.
"Wayne Rooney has got a cut down his forehead, it was completely accidental," Moyes told Sky Sports.
"It will keep him out for a few weeks. I would think he's got no chance of playing for England."
