Club Africain suspend players’ pay

Tunisia’s Club Africain announced on Wednesday the suspension of salaries of some players after they were found guilty of carrying out strike actions.
Fatah Gharbi, Skander Cheikh, Wajdi Jabbari, Haten Baratli, Mourad Hedhli and Maher Haddad will not be paid their September salary and will not train will the club’s senior team for six months but with the junior outfit.

Haten Baratli, Mourad Hedhli and Maher Haddad will also miss October’s pay for their role as instigators of the strike action, the club’s disciplinary committee said.
The concerned players refused to take part in training and preparatory matches last month to protest against poor condition of work.
