Lami Philips
is the only major soul singer around. She is also one of the female
Nigerian singers that is hardly seen in every social circle nor
gathering. She has not signed any major endorsement deal and her album
is not regarded as one of the bestselling album yet, but Lami is one
promising soul singer that is ready to wait for things to begin to
happen in her career. But since her debut in 2010, Lami has not fallen
below standards.
The singer spoke few hours ago on air about what informed her not to
be everywhere like every other acts. Lami explained that she believe in
her privacy and she cannot trade her privacy for anything. The singer
unveiled that soul music is still picking up in Nigeria and been
everywhere on the social scene may not work for her career un-like her
other counterpart doing hip hop.
Lami also says while thrilling her fans on stage, she is much more
alive which is better than unknowingly opening up her private life for
the world to see… Lami is at the moment said to be putting finishing
touches to his second album titled “Lovers Therapy”.
