Brazilian outfit Corinthians have indicated they are willing to part with striker Alexandre Pato in the January transfer window with Tottenham a keen suitor, media reported on Friday.
Pato only arrived back in his homeland from AC Milan last January for 20 million dollars looking to thrive on home soil before a home World Cup next June.
But Tottenham expressed an interest before the September transfer window closed and Lance sports journal reported that Corinthians had turned down an approach from the English Premier League side matching his arrival price.
Pato is under contract until 2016 but has been criticised several times by fans after missed chances.
He also fluffed a decisive spotkick which saw his side crash out of the Brazilian Cup to Gremio – former Milan teammate Dida saved his kick.

And Lance indicates the club are now willing to let the 24-year-old go.
Tottenham signed his former Corinthians teammate Paulinho pre-season and are now reportedly ready to offer $27.5 million.
Corinthians would receive barely half of that given Pato holds 40 percent of his contract rights. Lance reported changes would be made to his image rights agreement to facilitate a move back to Europe.
