An
Owo-bound truck on Wednesday lost control and collided with an oncoming
car. It resulted in the death of two persons, while others were
injured.
The accident occurred about 1pm at Sebi area, along the Akure-Ilesa Expressway.
Among the survivors was a one-month old infant, who sustained some injuries.
The truck involved had number plate,

and collided with the car coming from the opposite direction, killing
the driver, a female passenger and injured three other occupants of the
car.”
It was gathered that the driver of the truck jumped out of the truck and took to his heels for fear of being lynched.
Some members of the state National Union
of Road Transport Workers, who came to the scene, identified the driver
of the car as Oloyo, and a member of their union.
It was learnt that corpses were
immediately evacuated and deposited at the mortuary of the State
