Nchanga coach slams keeper

Nchanga Rangers coach Fighton Simukonda has slammed his goalkeeper’s performance in their 4-1 collapse away to Nkana.
A brace each from Kelvin Mubanga and Reynold Kampamba put Nkana back in the driving seat of the FAZ Super League table with seven games left for them to play.
Nkana benefited from some poor goalkeeping that forced Simukonda to take off Toaster Nsabata, who gifted Kelvin Mubanga two sloppy first half goals and replaced him with Rabson Mchelen’ganga.
Fortieth minute substitute Mchelen’ganga also suffered the same fate and was punished by a Reynold Kampamba brace in each half. Nchanga scored their lone goal through Martin Daka who scored a 15th minute equalizer before Nkana turned on the style with three more goals.

“I think we lost it in our goalkeeping,” Simukonda said. “We didn’t play according to our plans. I mean in game like the one like the one we played and conceding goals like that we are going nowhere.”
Meanwhile, Nchanga remain third on the FAZ Super League table and seven points behind leaders Nkana on 41 and 48 points after 24 and 23 games played respectively. Sunday’s away loss at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe was Nchanga’s worst FAZ Super League defeat so far this season.
