Bucs, Chiefs stay apart in TKO semis

Football | Telkom Knockout

The looming prospect of another Orlando soccer derby sell-out between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs in the Telkom Cup semifinals was avoided on Wednesday night.
The semifinal draw took place at Orlando Stadium immediately after Pirates became the fourth side to qualify for the semifinals with an emphatic 4-0 quarterfinal victory over a hapless Golden Arrows.
The outcome for Pirates is an away semifinal against long-standing rivals SuperSport United, with Chiefs at home to recent MTN8 Cup winners Platinum Stars.

The semifinals were both due to take place on the first week-end in November, but because the match between the Buccaneers and SuperSport would clash with Caf's first-leg Champions League Final between Pirates and Al Ahly, it will now take place at a later stage.
"We've just got to keep going," said Pirates' coach Roger de Sa.
"The busy programme of the last couple of months might have been unprecedented for a PSL club, but as long as you keep winning it's okay and you don't feel the strain nearly so much."
