Egypt senior team's technical staff have revealed that their veteran player Hosny Abd Rabo is fit for their crucial match against Ghana in the World Cup play off next Tuesday.
The Pharaohs will meet the Black Starsat the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
"Hosny's injury is not serious . He felt a pain in his leg on Thursday during training but the scan has revealed that the injury is not that bad. Egypt's doctor Tarek Soliman told supersport.com.
"Abd Rabo played two friendly matches against Uganda after a long lay off and that made him sore." Soliman added.
"Hosny will be ready for Tuesday’s match against Ghana and it's up to the head coach if he wants to use him or not".
Meanwhile Assistant Coach Diaa El Sayed added "Abd Rabo is a very important player in our squad , and we will depend on him against Ghana .He knows how to play these type of matches"
Egypt conducted their last training in Cairo on Friday before traveling to Accra on Saturday morning and then on to Kumasi on the same day.
