Emenike, Obaobona, Walk Suspension Tight Rope.

A trio of Nigeria players are walking a suspension tightrope for this weekend’s World Cup qualifier in Ethiopia.
Emmanuel Emenike, Godfrey Oboabona and Elderson Echiejile are all on yellow cards, and could miss the second leg of they pick up additional bookings in Addis Ababa.
But a Super Eagles team official told KickOffNigeria.com that neither players nor officials will be thinking about that when the game kicks off this weekend
“Yes, the three players have yellow cards, but you don’t go into a game thinking you want to play to avoid picking up another card.

“The best thing to do is play the game as best as you can and give everything for the team. At the end of the game, we will assess our options.”

Africa’s 2014 World Cup qualifying has been plagued by a rash of points reversals following the use of inelgible players, but the official said that that was unlikely to happen with the Super Eagles
“Our record-keeping is very good and nothing like that can happen. We already know the three players who are on yellow cards, and we have nobody suspended.”
