Cameroon defenders Henry Bedimo and Gaetan Bong are doubtful for their side’s weekend clash with Tunisia in the World Cup qualifier of October 13 after they sustained injuries on Wednesday during the team’s workshop in Lisses, near Paris, France.
Lyon’s left back Bedimo, who suffered a muscle injury, will be released on Thursday to get an MRI in Paris, while Bong of Olympiakos will undergo an ultrasound on Wednesday evening for a groin pain, according a report from the medical staff.
The results of the above medical tests will determine whether the duo will be able to take part in Sunday’s match between the Carthage Eagles and the Indomitable Lions in Rades, near Tunis.
Team captain Samuel Eto’o returned to the outfit on Tuesday after weeks of suspense as to his purported retirement from international football.
