Drogba laments difficult week

Didier Drogba is looking forward to getting back to the business of football following a diffcult week at Galatasaray.
The Super Lig champions parted company with manager Fatih Terim last week after he took charge of the Turkish national team and rejected a contract extension at the Turk Telekom Arena.
Roberto Mancini was confirmed as Terim’s replacement on Monday and got his reign under way in his native Italy, drawing 2-2 in a thrilling match with Juventus in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
Drogba scored the opener in that game before second-half efforts from Arturo Vidal and Fabio Quagliarella gave Juve a late lead.

But Umut Bulut stole in to grab an equaliser with two minutes of normal time remaining, sending Gala home happy after a testing time.
Drogba said: “It has been a difficult for the club in the last two or three days, this is football fortunately or unfortunately, I don’t know.
“Now we have a new manager, we are going to work with him in order to win games and do our best for the club.
“The most important thing is the club and we always have to try to do our best.
“We worked hard on the tactics with Mancini, he has already proved to be a very experienced coach.
“In just a couple of days he could not do much obviously but it was certainly a good start for him.
“We were very solid, especially in the first half when we conceded almost nothing to Juventus.
“It was definitely a good result for us.”
