Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose is pleased to have renewed his contract at 44-time Scottish champions, Celtic.
Ambrose joined the Hoops in 2012 from Israeli club, Ashdod in 2012 and has now been rewarded with a new contract that will see him staying on at Celtic Park until the summer of 2017 following impressive performances in the Scottish Cup, Premiership and the Uefa Champions League.
The 24-year-old has now spoken of his happiness at the development.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Celtic so far and I am absolutely delighted to extend my stay at such a fantastic club,” he told the Celtic official website, Celticfc.net.
Ambrose played 27 league games and scored three times in his first season at the club and has already made seven league starts for Celtic this term.
He is also fully established at international level having scored one goal in 31 appearances since making his Nigeria debut in 2008.
