Football | Super Eagles
Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi is ready to face Ethiopia ahead of
their World Cup play off match that will be played on Sunday at Addis
Ababa stadium.
This comes hours after the team landed in Addis Ababa for the fixture.
The tactician echoed his views after the training session held on Saturday evening.
"I'm not impressed by the pitch conditions. It is very hard and risky to the players."
"We are ready for them and we will give our all. We were here the last time but that last result against them has no bearing on Sunday's clash."
"As much as the fans will pack the stadium, that is normal. I mean every team has to have fans to support them and that is normal."
"We have been training and we are here to accomplish our mission as a team and that is our target."
Super Eagles have lost to Walya Antelopes only once and that is back in 1993 when Keshi still featured for the team.
They are set for the eighth meeting with only 180 minutes separating the two sides from World Cup.
